METEOROLOGICAL.
Rain having fallen on but one day during the past week, our streets have been pretty dusty with the strong breezes that have alternately blown from land and sea. A fair equable temperature has prevailed, but nothing at all ilke the heat of former years. Grass seed is agitating the pulse of the market, and wool-shearing is proceeding as fast as a want of confidence in the weather will allow. The South Easter blowing yesterday brought up thick weather from the seaward, and likely to terminate in rain.
