COMMERCIAL.
Mr. W. S. Greene requests us to state that at the sale of Mr. Wyllie’s leasehold property on Saturday, there was rather a sparse attendance, on account of the Sitting of the Lands Court; however, about 25 lots were disposed of, a number of which fetched over the upset price, and for which there was spirited competition. The horses, and Government stores fetched fair prices.
The remainder of Mr. Wyllie’s leaseholds will be offered at an early date, due notice of which will be given.
