The past three days have been generally fine with cool southerly breezes and occasional showers. On Thursday evening a severe thunder storm separated itself at the ranges on the south of the Bay, one portion passing inland, and the other seaward, a very little of it passing over Gisborne; the vivid, forked lightening had a beautiful eflcct in the setting sun. The rivers are much flooded.
