The latter half of the past week was warm but cloudy, with light, variable winds. On Saturday, the 15th,a tolerably heavy thunderstorm worked up from the Southward, accompanied with vivid llgtiinliig, as far as Young Nick’s Head, »vlicn tb took a direct ion seaward. The past three days have been wet, with a varying temperature, and a strong gale blowing from the N.E. Wool growers and grass seed garnerers are becoming impatient at the continued rainfall, but the country is in splendid condition as far us grass feed is concerned.
