TO THE ELECTORS OF POVERTY BAY. ♦ JpELLOW ELECTORS—On Thursday, the 6th instant, the Election of Superintendent for the Province of Auckland takes place, and it behoves all Electors who have the welfare of this District at heart, to give their votes on that day to the best one of the three candidates. Mr. Dargavillo is undoubtedly the favorite. His lucid speeches, made in Auckland and elsewhere, and his independent position, make him deservedly so. Mr. Dargaville’s address to the Electors here, proves that he is already acquainted with the wants of our District, and though as yet, we have not had the pleasure of a visit from him to wake us up, owing to the bad communication between this place and the capital of the Province, let us not be unmindful of the benefits that would accrue to the whole Province, were he to become our Superintendent. Ido not write this to get any of my fellow Electors to alter their determination, if fixed, but to those who have not yet decided, I say:— VOTE FOR DARGAVILLE! A.ISV You Won’t be Sorry for it. & T. HORSFALL.
