OCTOBER. 22—Start, cutter, Doughty master, from Mercury Bay, with a cargo of timber, consigned to J. R. Morgan. 22 Wuratah. cutter, Bushell master, from Mercury Bay, with a cargo of timber, consigned to Graham & Co. DEPARTURES. OCTOBER. 24 —Opotiki, schooner, Harris master, for Napier with 1,300 feet sawn timber, and 12 empty barrels.
Start and Waratah cleared at the Customs yesterday for Mercury Bay and Auckland. Three Brothers is ballasting at the lower port, and will take her departure early. The Effie Meikle arrived yesterday afternoon, but had not reported at the Customs.
