OCTOBER. 7- -Rangatira, s.r., Lloyd, from Napier and Wellington. Passengers: — Messrs. Small, Turner, and Wi Haronga. DEPARTURES. OCTOBER. 7—Rangatira, s.s., Lloyd, for Napier and Wellington. Passengers—Mr. Hartley and three others. The Lennox Castle arrived at Napier after a stormy passage, from Wellington. The Tawera, schooner, returned to port for shelter from the North-Easter blowing on Sunday last. The Clematis also anchored during the night to ride out the gale. The Rangatira was compelled to leave her passengers behind at Napier on account of the heavy N.E. swell which prevented her communicating with the shore. The mail was, with difficulty, got on board.
