A superabundance of advertisements, and other matter presses bo much upon our space that we are compelled to shut out our remarks upon the subject of “ Whenua’s ” letter, which appears in this morning’s issue. The few items of intelligence to hand per Bangatira yesterday, appear in due course; but there is nothing of an unusual character to be found in our exchanges, if we exclude the drowning of the Captain of the Claud Hamilton and the probable re-establish-ment of the San Francisco Mail Service.
