ARRIVALS. SEPTEMBER. 14 —Comerang, p.s. Hughes, from Auckland. 14 —Effie Meikle, schooner, Hooper, from Auckland. Passengers—Messrs. Hoite and Gidley 16—Rangatira, s.e. Hepburn, from Napier and Wellington. Passengers — Captain Baldwin, Miss Brewer, Messrs. Simpson, Large, and Collins.

DEPARTURES. SEPTEMBER. 13— Opotiki, schooner, Harris, for Napier. 14— Comerang, p.s., Hughes, for Napier. Passenger—J. Rhodes. 16—Rangatira, s.s., Hepburn, for Napier and Wellington. Passengers — Mr. and Miss Large, Professor Harrison, Mr. Chambers, anh 4 others.

The Atalanta put into port yesterday windbound from Napier to Auckland. A topsail schooner, name unknown, has been anchored of the Ariel rooks, since Saturday last. The Julius Vogel—a new schooner, just off the stocks at Auckland, to the order of Captain Read—and the Tawera, are daily expected from that port. The p.s. Paterson will leave Auckland for this port, on the 20th instant. The p.s. Comerang is expected to call in to-day on her way from Napier to Auckland but there’s nothing certain about it. This vessel is in future to run on the West Coast after one or two trips to Napier.

The schooner Mervyn, chartered by John Buchanan, Esq., is expected to arrive from Auckland about the end of the week.
