Long Drive G.M.Co. Annual Meeting.— The Directors’ report stated that it was proposed to make arrangements with adjoining companies to enable their works to be turned to account for opening the Long Drive low levels. The assets of the Company were more valuable by £l2 4s than at the same time last year. Mr. Johnson moved as an amendment to the report that £l2OO be paid out of the reserve fund as a dividend, but it lapsed for want of a seconder. The report was adopted. Mr. Earl was re-elected director. The members of the Imperial family of Russia are assembling at Livadia to receive H.R.H. the Duke of Edinburgh in September. His marriage with the Grand Duchess Marie is to take place in January, at St. Petersburgh.
