The Bay of Plenty Times says : —“ Te Heira, a Ngatiawa chief, concerned in the Fulloon murder, and who was liberated by request of Rewi is about to visit the Bay of Plenty. Rewi talks of accompanying him. Mr. Dargaville advertises in a Thames paper that he is not to retire from the contest for the Superintendeney in favor of another candidate, but that he is “ fully resolved to go to the poll, and with every hope and prospect of success.”
