RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Thubsday, July 31. [Before W. K. Nesbitt, Esq., R.M.] Read v. Otene Pomabe.—Debt £l7 3s 9d. Judgment for plaintiff and costs. Goldsmith v. Peteba Have. — Plaintiff claimed the sum of £5 paid by him, as the value, of a black gelding sold by the defendant to the Slaintiff and afterwards claimed by a third party, udgment for plaintiff with costs. McNaughton v. Walker. — Claim for £24 3s 8d wages due including interest. A letter was handed into the Court, from the defendant admitting the claim barring interest, and stating that Mr. J. C. Campbell whohired plaintiff should have paid him his wages when due. Judgment for £l7 15s and costs. Jones v. King.—Claim £3 6s wages claimed to be due. Judgment for plaintiff £2 14s.
