1. For the erection of Beacons, and putting down the necessary Piles in the Turanganui River. 2. For Culvert-drains, &c., for the Middleroad, Mendlesham. 3. For Fascining the approaches to the Ferry at the Waipaoa River, (Goldsmith’s). Specifications, &c., to be seen on application to the Office of the Road Board, Court-house, Gisborne. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. Tenders to be sealed and endorsed separately as follows:—“Tenders for,” as the case may be, and addressed to the Chairman. By Order, R. M. Iron Bedsteads Fencing wire and Staples Wines and Spirits, best brands Lam] s and Lamp Glasses China, Earthen, and Glassware Fancy Goods and Stationery The present premises are about to be enlarged and refitted, when large additions to present Stock will be made, which we will then be enabled to display with more convenience to customers. It will be our endeavor to meet the wants of the public by keeping up a well assorted Stock in all departments, and selling at moderate prices. TO LET. AT MATAWHERO, FOR A TERM TO BE AGREED UPON.
