ADVANCE POVERTY BAY.
Poverty poverty, who can say, That poverty liveth in Poverty Bay ? He might have been here, in the days of Cook But like Te Kooti, he’s, ta’en his hook ; While Peace, and Plenty, are skipping around, Patient Industry tillefh the ground ; And Capital too, we are glad to read, Is here in abundance, to supply our need. Then let us be happy, for none can say, That poverty liveth in Poverty Bay. T. C.
