Messrs. Routledge Kennedy & Co. report that at their sale held yesterday at the Shamrock Sale yards, of Mr. J. D. Canning’s cattle, there was a goj»d attendance, and the bidding was spirited. Two to three year old steers fetched, on the average. £5 Ils 6d ; spayed heifers, two year old, £4 18; sixteen months old “Crusader” heifers from £5 to £1(1 10s ; two seven months old “ Crusader” bulls £l2 each.— Batches Bay Herald. In Mr. Chrisp’s estate the hacks averaged from £6 to £l7. and the sheep dogs fetched respectively £4. £6 10s, and £ll 10s. — Ibid.
