For cutting an outlet drain a length of about 50 chains, from the Main Road to Ormord, to French Bob’s, and for deepening the present side drain. 2nd. For building a culvert across the Main Road to Ormond, about half way between King’s comer and Colebrook’s Hotel. 3rd. For improving the Ford at the mouth of the Waikanae Stream. 4th. For formation, cutting drains, and building culvert in Derby-street, Gisborne. Specifications, &c., to be seen on application at the Road Board office. That New, Commodious, Substantially-built, Family Hotel; and Boarding House,: at present in the occupation of-the undersigned. The property stands on Town section No. 36; is pleasantly-situated at the comer of <Childersstreet and Lowe-street, Gisborne, and commands an extensive view of the Water and Plains of Poverty Bay. It consists of a main three-story building, containing Commercial, and Dining Rooms, and Private Suites for Families. There are also nine spacious bedrooms, capable of accommodating 20 boarders. The Out-offices consist of a detached kitchen fitted with a first-class ‘Economist’ -cooking range ; a compact brick oven, and-all necessary culinary arrangements required for first-class business. A large well containing rain water, supplied from the main building, is sunk on the premises; substantially built with brick and Roman cement; it holds 1,600 gallons, and is fitted with a new pump. The Hotel FURNITURE, FITTINGS, and EFFECTS, will be taken at a valuation, separately, for cash. N.B. —A License has been granted to the Shamrock Hotel from the Ist of July next. For further information apply on the premises to WILLIAM DALY, Proprietor.
