" We shall etR to no man - justice or right: We shall deny to no man justice or right: We shall defer to no man justice or right.”
The lateness of the hour at which the meeting broke up last * night, prevents us from entering upon ’the subject of its business, beyond congratulating the ■ Company on the assurances of support • handed in on all sides. A large’muster ■ of settlers met according to announcement, and a great interest was manifested in the concern. Our report ds necessarily held over until Saturday; but, in the meantime, we have the pleasure of recording that near 300 shares were subscribed for; a Provisional Committee .is to be appointed, and arrangements made for at once floating what we earnestly believe will be a most successful undertaking. It remains for the settlers now to take up the matter in such away as to place the stability and profitableness of the enterprise beyond question.
