ARRIVALS. April 17. —Paterson, p.s., Captain A. Kennedy, from Napier and the South. Passengers : -Mrs. Howell, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton and family, Major Westrup, Messrs. Poynter, Wi Peri, Campbell, Higgins, and 8 others for the North. DEPARTURES. April 17. —Paterson, p.s., Captain A. Kennedy, for Auckland, with 6 cases fruit. The Ranqatira passed the Bay on her way to Auckland on Wednesday last. The Nebraska, it appears, took the mail on to San Francisco after all. The Luna was to leave Wellington for Napier on the 14th inst., to take Judge Richmond on to Nelson. The Haioke's Ray Herald reports the schooner Colonist us having sailed on the Bth inst. for this port. If she has not come to grief, we certainly have had southerly wind enough to bring her on.
