The quotation at LiverEool is Ils 6d per cental.—The Roman Catholics ave appointed a thanksgiving for the overthrow .of the Irish University Bill.—The Atlantic Telegraph Company is announced, with a capital of eight millions sterling, which is to absorb existing companies. — The National Agricultural Union has resolved to petition the Colonial Governments to grant free passages to agricultural laborers.—Mr. Lowe promises to consider the expediency of inquiring into the Bank Act, authorising the Government to suspend the Bank Charter on emergencies.
