March 26.—Comerang, p.s., Captain Chrisp, for Napier, with 108 bags grass seed, 3 bales 6 bags fungus, 16 eases fruit. Passengers : —Bishop of Waiapu, Messrs. Knowles, Barrie, Biddell, Higgins, Copeland, Groom, Downes, Banbury, Dick, Parsons. March 27. — Tawera, schooner, Captain J. Kennedy, for Auckland, viA the Coast, with 56 bales wool, 25 bags wheat, 8 casks tallow, 21 hides, 11 tons potatoes. The Rangatira may be looked for going North, from Napier, to-night or to-morrow morning. ’ The ship Chile has sailed from Napier for London with the most valuable cargo that has over left that port. It is set down at £77,607. The Hawke's Say Herald says :—- After making two more trips to Poverty Bay, the Comerang will take the place of the s.s. Star of the South in the trade between this port and Auckland for the ensuing nine months.
