A steamer was seen crossing the bay southwards on Tuesday morning. This would probably be the Star of the South which had been weather bound in Tologa Bay since Sunday. The Messrs. Brogden are reported to be making arrangements for placing another steamer on the coasting trade; she is coming from England, we understand.
Captain Kennedy reports having been on this side of the Cape for the last week, having had a very boisterous passage of fourteen days from Auckland, and lias succeeded in landing about thirtydone of cargo on the coast.
