RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
Monday, MarchlO. [Before W.K. Nesbitt, Esq., R.M.] (special sitting.) Scott v. Thatcher.—Breach of “Auckland Sheep Act, 1863.” George Scott, Inspector of Sheep, sworn stated that he went to Tologa Bay to inspect sheep in Mr. Thatcher’s charge, and found scab among them. He asked Mr. Thatcher if he knew mat he had scab, and he replied “Yes.” The sheep.had.been dressed for scab, about three months previous to this. The defendant pleaded that the sheep had been declared scabby, and a dean certificate had not* beengiven. ; Casejtismissed; _ 'J r ■•• - :
