GISBORNE PUBLIC DAY SCHOOL. fTIHE Committee of the above School, having provided suitable Prizes for the Scholars whose conduct and general proficiency entitle them to rewards, have determined to commemorate the distribution by a TREAT for the whole of the School, to take place on FRIDAY, 21st instant, at the MUSIC HALL, GISBORNE. Hours for assembling, 3 p.m., and break up at 6 p.m. Parents are invited. A SOIREE and BALL in the evening for the benefit of the School. Hour of assembly, 7.30 p.m. Admission, by Tickets only, which may bo obtained from Mr. Blair, and Mr. Stubbs, Gisbome, and Mr. Dalziell, Makaraka, not later than WEDNESDAY. 19th instant. Single Tickets, 3s; double ticket, ss. Refreshments to be obtained by purchase at the refreshment rooms. Programme : Dancing commences at 8 o’clock, and the interludes beguiled by the CHRISTY MINSTRELS, AMATEUR VOCALISTS, MUSICIANS, and DANCERS. QUADRILLE BAND in attendance.
