K. Read.

The Comerang was advertised to leave for Auckland as we went to press, with 40 cattle and 400 sheep. The Tawcra will follow for Auckland and the Coast first op|*ortunitv. Ths schooner Opotiki is daily expected to arrive here from Auckland. The <s. Rangatira may be looked for on or about Friday next, and is advertized to return to Napier. - • A perplexing S.E. gale set in early on Sunday morning just as the Dawn and Columbia were preparing to get opt. They are both full ships, the latter having 300 sheep on board for the Auckland market. The weather during the last ten days has been very ‘ unsettled and has prevented a quick despatch of these vessels.
