TURANGA STAKES of 20 sors., entrances added, 3 miles, aged list. 5 4 and 3 yrs. in same reduction as Auckland weights for age. 3. SCURRY STAKES of 15 sovs., entrances added, one mile heats, weights for age. 4. HACK RACE of 5 sovs., entrances added; 10s. post entrance, one mile, catch weights ; for horses which have not been entered in other than hack races at this meeting, and which have not been sweated in clotlung. 2nd. Day, 23rd. January. I- HURDLE RACE cf 20 sovs., entrances added, two miles over five flights of fencing 3ft. flin. high, weights for age. '• 2. PONY RACE of 10 sovs., entrances added, for ponies 14 hands and under flst. top weight, allowance of 71bs per hn h , mile heats. 3. LADIES PURSE of 20 sovs., entrances added, two miles, weight for age ; penalty of 71be. on the winner of any of the previous races. 4. CONSOLATION HANDICAP of 10 sovs., entrances added, 1J miles for all the beaten horses of the meeting, to be handicapped by the Stewards or whom they may appoint. 5. HACK RACE of 5 sovs., entrance* added, half mile heats, catch weights. Post entrances 10s. Second horses to save stakes, except in Hack Races. No person shall be allowed to enter a horse in other than the Hack Races, unless he is a subscriber to the Race Fund of at least Two Guineas ; and for the Pony Race he must be a subscriber of at least One Guinea. All Jockiesto ride in the Colors as described to the Stewards by the enterers of their horses, subject to a fine of One Pound. All Entries enclosing fee, 15 per cent, on value of stakes, description cf horse, colors of rider to be made in writing to the Hon. Secretary not later than 7 p.m. on the Saturday previous to Races, at the Albion Hotel. The winner of ar.y match run on the Course to pay Ten Slu'din/-; to the Stc-war Is. 5 per cent, to be deducted from amount of winnings towards expenses. Money to be paid previous to starting.
