The Engineer was instructed to call for tenders for clearing 30 feet wide of roadway between sections No. 2 8 4 and 5 suburban Ormond. 10 feet which is the centre to be grubbed. ' Mr. Cuff*s opinion as to constitution of Pound, and rating qf Natives in certain cases was laid on the table. Secretary was instructed to cause hand bills 1 in English and Maori, to be printed for circulation, notifying that the Assessment list for current year is ready and open for inspection, and that objections to the same will be heard on the 29th January.
