RIFLE MATCH.
A closely contested match was fired between eight members of the Gisborne Rifle Club, and eight of the Armed Constabulary from Camp, Ormond, at the new Rille Range, resulting in a victory to the A.C., they winning by four points. The following are scores at 401 >, 500, and 600 yards, seven shots each man :— ARMED CONSTABULARY.
GISBORNE RIFLE CLUB.
The scoring was not quite up to the shooting powers of our marksmen, owing to a smart breeze blowing from seaward across the range.
