The schooner Whitby will leave for Auckland about Sunday next. The Dawn is daily expected from Auckland, ■ and will be laid on her old berth for Napier at •once. The Dacotah had not arrived in Auckland when the Rangatira left. The Rangatira during her last stay in Wellington was docked and thoroughly overhauled, and, according to our advices is open to do any amount of work. The Management in Wellington are beginning to see the importance of our trade, and have decided to lay this favorite steamer on for a few trips between the ports of Gisborne, Napier, and Wellington.
