POVERTY BAY HIGHWAY BOARD. VSTHEREAS it is deemed expedient, for the ’ ’ purposes of public accommodation, that a permanent Roadway should be made from Waerenga-a-hika to Ripongaere Crossing ; and wheieasit is necessary that the said Roadway should be taken through a portion of the Makauri Block ; and whereas Part VII. of the “Higlnvay Boards Empowering Act, 1871,” rcqiiires licit a notice of forty clear days shall be given of such work being about to be 'undertaken,—this is to NOTIFY' to all and sundry the ow ners, or reputed Owners, Lessees, Occupiers, aiul Agents of and for any portions of the said Makauri Block through which the said Roadway is proposed to be taken, that a SPECIFICATION and PLAN of the Road, together with the names of those affected by it, have been deposited, and will be open for their inspection, on and after Monday, the 11th dav of November, at the Office of the Roaid Board, Gisborne. And it is further NOTIFIED that all persons who may have any objection to make to the Skid line of Road, must set forth the same in writing, addressed to the Chairman of the Board before the expiration of the said forty days from the 11th of November. . .
