More Fishes for Food. —The Weekly News says, under the head of “ New Barristers On the application of Mr. MacCormick, Mr. Christopher Greenway was admitted to practice as solicitor and barrister in the Courts of New Zealand.—An application was made by Mr. Hesketh that Mr. Walter Henry Armstrong be admitted a solicitor and barrister to practice in the Courts of the colony. Admitted.—Both gentlemen then subscribed to the oaths necessary to the confirmation of their admission. Vienna Exhibition. —We observe that a motion of Mr. Boylan’s, to the effect that a sum of £5OO be voted by the Harbor Board for the purpose of assisting exhibitors to procure specimens of colonial industry, for the forthcoming exhibition at Vienna, has been lost. The P.'e.s is glad to notice that the flaxdressing movement in Canterbury appears to have received a fresh impetus lately, as considerably above the average tonnage of fibre is at the prerent time being forwarded for shipment to England and elsewhere. In the Louisiana State prison prisoners are always washed before they are : 'oned. Of cour c, “ I am not mad ; only incensed,” said a dandy smelling of musk. He was not muscular, though he smelt strong.
