A DREADFUL TRAGEDY.
A dreadful tragedy was onnetrdf fjn Sept. 12th at I.ndlow, Bn gland, at (Jia Trotting Horse Inn, kept by a *£r G. Grosvenor. At 230 a.m. a c-oa'.table on duty in the street, outside Ino hou*e r heard screams proceeding ft OKI nn Upper fiont room, anil a man’s voice calling for a light. Up< njknockiog he was admitletf f and on going upstairs ho found Mrs GrO'Venor lying on the floor besmeared! with blood, and sun ported in her husband’s arms.- A child wos also there, with its f.'.co and neck badly cut. and blood streaming down upon its drag*. Upon a bed lay the body of a little child, ■with iia throat cut atnl covered tvltl, blood. The constable fetched o surgeon, who rendesed .every assistance, hue the younger child van dead before his arrival, lira mother apparently killed ona of bar ch’.i dren, attempted to kill a second, and then cut tier own throat, O t the arrival of medical aid the unfortunate woruaa was found to be <le;id.
