All told, as follows :—owes in wool, with lambs, 3ls 1 Id, one outside lot, 8s ; pedigree cows, £3 to £7, one 2 year old bull, Kingscote, £lO 10s, pen of g> od cows and calves, 725, yearlings, 17s to 20s, store cows, 455, draught horses, £lO 5s to £l3 lUs, pony hack, £0 los, dray. £9 7s 6d, double-furrow plough, £J : sundries at fair values. The meat tinning boons of £ISOO required by Mr Oldham, was partially subscribed, and the balance guaranteed at a meeting held at Putea on the 2nd. Erection of works star, immediately, and tinning operations commence in January, No one can doubt the benefit the manufactury will be to the district . MR BUCKLAND’S REPORT. AUCKLAND,—Mr Buckland reports that at Remucra on Thursday dairy cows were in usual supply, and were a little better worth. A large number of store cattle yarded me with lit lc demand, all sorts being lower than last week. Fat cattle, in short supply, were rather lower than on last Thursday. tJhe.p and Jambs were plentiful, and freely maintained their late values.
