Ihree starters or no race, four starters or no second prize, five starters or no third 1 * All protests to be in writing, and to be lodged with the Committee or the Secretary within ten minutes after the event. Five shillings to be deposited witn each protest, which will be forfeitad if the protest is not sustained. Entries for all handicaps must bo accompanied by particulars of performances during the last two years. Competitors must appear in proper costume, under a penalty of ss. Nominations for all handicap events to be sent to the Secretary at Messrs Kells and Kearney’s office x:ot later than 8 30 p.m. on Saturday, 24thDecember, accompanied by fees, ui they will not be accepted.
