No entry will be received for any races except upon this condition—that all disputes, claims, and objections arising ont of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying ont of this programme shall be final. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Hon, Secretary, HaWbßa, entrance money enclosed, with the name, age at time of entry, pedigree, and in case of handicaps, performances of the horse, name of the owner, and colours of the rider. Any jockey riding except in the colours entered will be fined 3 sovs. When two or more horses start, the property of the same owner a distinguishing, colour must be worn. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine of 2 sovs to the race fund. All races to be rim under Wanganui Jockey Club Rules. Horses walking over will only receive i half the stakes. Qualification fee for bod -members, £l. No other nominations will be received 1 under any pretence whatever after the time specified for closing. Letters bearing the pest-mark of the date of entry, and telegrams of the same date, will be received. i All persons intending to withdraw | horses are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or Olerk of the Scales one half-hour before starling. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this role, shall pay. a fine of 5 sovs to the race fund. The second horse to save his stakes in all races, except otherwise stated. Nominations for the Handicap Hurdles, Flying Handicap, Egmont Handicap, and District Race Handicap, will close at the Hon Secretary’s Office, Hawera, on Thursday, 21st February, at 8 p.m. Weights will be declared on Wednesday, 27th February.
