Daily Mails are despatched from Patea as follow For Waverley, Waitotara and Wanganui 7.15 a.m. 12.45 p.m,,;. For-Wellington direct, Eai Iwi, Okehn, 12.45 pm; For Manutahi, Hawera, Normanby, Stratford, Waitara* and New Plymouth 10.45 a m , 5 pm; F° r Kakaramea, Otakcho, Manaia. Opiinake, Mungawhcro and Ngaire 10.45 am.
CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS. This Office will be closed all day on Christas Hay and New Year’s Day. On Boxing Day theusual despatch of mails np to 10 a.m. will take place, after that time no mails will he sent away. The Office will also be open on Boxing Day from i? ajm. to 10 a.m. for all kinds of business. The Letter Carrier will make one delivery of letters commencing at 8 a.in. SAN FRANCISCO MAIL. The next English and European Mail via San Francisco will close on Saturday the sth day of January at 10.45 a.ra. Money Orders cannot be issued after 4 p.m. on Friday the 3rd January, FRANCIS LONG, Postmaster.
