DUNEDIN, This Day
A fonrtecn-roomed house nt Bavensbourne, occupied by G II Marsdon, was totally destroyed by fire on Saturday night, by the explosion of a kerosehc lamp. The family had a narrow escape. Nothing was saved. The house Was insured for £I7OO in the Transatlantic, but Marsden estimates his loss at £2OOO over that.
