CRICKET.

Gladstone t. Manutahl

A match was played on Christmas Day between the Gladstone Cricket Club and the Manntahi Chib, which resulted in an easy victory for the former by an innings and 16 runs. The weather was highly unfavourable, showers falling at intervals, and so preventing any particularly brilliant batting on either side. The visitors wore generously treated by the Manntahi team, and we hope the Patea Club will soon return the compliment. Appended are the scores. GLADSTONE C.C. FIRST INNINGS.
