MAIL NOTICES.
Daily Mails are despatched from Patea as follow :—For Waverley, Waitotara and Wanganui 7.15 a.m. 12.45 p.m.; For Wellington direct, Kai Iwi, Okehu, 12,45 pm; For Manutahi, Hawera, Normanby. Stratford, Waitara and New Plymouth 10.45 am, 5 pm ; For Kakaramea, Otakcho, Manaia, Opunake, Mungawhero and Ngairc 10.45 am.
CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS. This Office will be closed all clay on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, On Boxing Day the usual despatch of mails up to 10 a.m. will take place, after that time no mails will be sent away. The Office will also be open on Boxing Day from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. for all kinds of business. The Letter Carrier will make one delivery of letters commencing at 8 a.m. SAN FRANCISCO MAIL. The next English and European Mail via San Francisco will close on Saturday the sth day of January at 10.45 a.m. Money Orders cannot be issued after 4 p.m. on Friday the 3rd January, FRANCIS LONG, Postmaster.
