A portion of the frozen mutton, ex British Queen, was sold this morning at an average of 6£d per lb.

PARIS, Dec 20 ■ The reported occupation of Soutay by the French troops is denied. Latest despatches to band state that ..the French captured the outpost at Soutay only after a stubborn fight in which they lost fifteen officers and two hundred men, the enemy’s loss being very heavy. The assault of Stputay fortress is to take place on the seventeenth instant.
