Question : -Why remains yet unfulfilled the predicted closing of L. and Co.’s FURNITURE DEPOT after 12 months’ existence ? Answer : Because an appreciating public know who introduced the “S. P. and Q. R.” motto and patronise the one who did so. Question : Why is it unnecessary to mark down and sell of, or by professedly alarming sacrifices decoy customers into the Furniture Depot ? Answer : Because it is well known that all goods baring been inaiked at onr uniform LO W RA TE OF PROFIT and no WHITE PINE used in the manufacture of any article of Furniture no such artifice is needed. Question : Why should *very resident of and visitor to the district inspect L. and Co.’s Furniture Depot before making their purchases ? Answer : Because in no place on the Coast can there be seen such a comprehensive and valuable stock of household Furniture, &c, &c, &c, at such low prices.
