Entries close at the office of the secretary at 9 p.m, on Wednesday, the 19th December, and letters bearing the post mark of that date will be accepted. Handicaps will appear in the Patea Mail of the 24th December. Half entrance fee to be paid on entering, and half on acceptance. The secretary will be in attendance at the office from 7 p.m, to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, the 19th December, to receive nominations. E. PAYNE, Hon Sec. Railway Hotel. The above Hotel is now being carried on under the supervision of the Trustees, they having appointed Mr D. M, Harris as their Agent, in whom the license is invested. Travellers by the Train will find a very marked change under the new management, nnd the Trustees beg to solicit, their support. The Bar has been thoroughly replenished with fresh Wines and Spirits, the whole of the old stock being put aside.
