Weather forecast for 24- hours, from 9 a.ra. to-day :—Wind—between southwest and south-east at all places north of Kaikoura and Westport, and between north-east and south-west at all other places. Barometer—further rise at all places north of Napier and New Plymouth ; fall, but rising after 12 hours at all otder places. Sea—heavy on east coast, between East Cape and Kaikoura, moderate elsewhere. Warnings for southerly gales have been sent to all east coast stations between Kaikoura and East Cape.
