WELLINGTON, This day.
Weather forecast for 24 hours, from 9 a.m. to-day :—Wind—between northwest and north-east in both Islands. Barometer —falling again everywhere within 10 hours. Sea—heavy on western coast, and between Oastlepoint and Lyttelton. Warnings for northerly gales have been sent to all places. Synopsis of last 24 hours:—There has been a farther fall of the barometer everywhere, but it has risen slowly during the night at places south of Lyttelton. There have been hard northerly gales with rain at most places south ot Napier and New Plymouth.
