RE H. A. ARTHUR’S MEETING OF CREDITORS.

Spß,— ln justice to myself, and to place the matter before the public in its proper light, with reference to the statement made by Mr Webster at the meeting of creditors, from which the direct inference would be drawn that Mr Harcoort knew nothing whatever of any other claims in Paten, than those appearing in the list of trade debts I sent him, and to show what are the real facts of the case, ! insert verbatim the copy of a letter I received from Messrs Harcourt 4 Co., bearing date 20lh June,. 1882, relating to Mr J. Williamson’s and my son’s claims.—l am, &e.,

Note—lt will be seen from the above that on June -20 th, 1882, my son’s claim stood at £BSO, and wages for 18 months’ ! Work and overtime since added will more than bring it np ito £512 odd, the amount proved for.— H. A. Arthur.
