A Tug-of-War will take place (sweepstake.) A Cap, value £S 3s, will bo presented to the competitor scoring most points in the 100 yards, 200 yards, and Handicaps, Children’s prizes will be distributed during the day. Entries close at the office of the secretary at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, the 19th December, and letters bearing the post mark of that date will be accepted. Handicaps will ap.peiir in the Patea Mail of the 24th DecemberHalf entrance fee to be paid on entering, and half on acceptance. The secretary will be in attendance at the office from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, the 19lh December, to receive nominations.
