MESSRS NOLAN, TONKS AND CO.’S MONTHLY REPORT. HXwera, Nov 30. During the month advanced prices have been got ior all classes of stock. At Normanby and Monaia, on the Ist and 2nd, very few cattle changed hands ; but at Hawcra on the 15tb, and Marinin on the 29th, a good number were penned and all aold freely at the hammer. Sheep are still In .active demand, mid consequently no trouble in placing all lots brought forward.
Cattle—At Normanbjv 23 head were sold : woaners, 25s ; 2-year-old heifers, L2 5s ; milch cows, L2 17s. 6d to L 6. At Hawera 158 head sold : -yearlings, 22s to 29s ; .2-year-old steers, L 3 Is ; 2 to 3 yoar-old steers, L 4 11s 6d ; 18-month.old steers, L 22». At Manaia, 110 head sold ; woaners, 18s ; weaners, hand-fed, 29s 6d ; yearling steers, L2 to L2 17s ; dry cows in forward condition, L 3 10s ; cows and calves, L2 18a. • Sheep—At Normanby, 114 hoggets brought 10s. At Manaia, on the Ist and 29th, 840 were sold : hoggets, l2s Id ; ewes and lambs, 13s to 15s ; fat ewes in wool, 10s 9d to 14s fid ; fat ewes, shorn, 9s 4d.
Horses—A good number have been sold during the month,’but, being of an indifferent class, very low prices have been obtained. ... .
