In Standard II there .were nine presented, eight passed : Atinie Holloway, Norah Shealtan, Janft r Davidson, Florence Sheiid, ' Arthur Symes, James Davidson, George Johnson, Charlie Sheiid, Li-Standard 111, * there wore presented three; and hll passed. Following are The names ; THary Kroger, Alfred Sytnes, and Jeremiah Hurley. In Standard IV,' six were pres-nled, nil passed : Mary McLaughlin, 293 ; Alice Turner, 228 ;;Albert* Symes, 260 ; Daniel I Hurley, 326 288 | Charlie- ' McLoughlin, 294, In Standard. V* one presented and passed, .John Holloway, 317. The. examination lasted six hours, and the Inspector and the member* present wore well pleased at the result. At the conclusion Mr Foulis complimented the teacher, Miss Vordon, and the little ones at the rapid progress The school had made within the last five months, as it had in (hat time about doubled its number, and as this was his last visit ho wished them all : good-bye. The lift let ones stood tip and said,:“Oh ho, no*'yoa'nHiaflßM come back again, for you aro-a jolly go fellow, you are a jolly good fellow ” &c, -
