ACCIDENT.
Borne little excitement was caused in Egmont street about four o’clock this afternoon by the spectacle of a horse attached to a trap kicking lustily right and left. It appears that Mr Barraclough was driving a trap down the street, and when Opposite Messrs McCarty and Hunger’s: blacksmith’s shop the back-band broke, letting the shafts down, and so causing the horse to become restive. Fortunately, a number of willing hands were immediately on the spot, and the horse was freed without any. damage being done, except some trifling injuries to the trap. J
