MEETING OF CREDITORS.

A meeting of creditors in the estate of Mr F. R. Doneghue was held at the Court-house on Monday afternoon. There were present Messrs Tnplin (ip the chair), H. I. Davis, G. I. Potto, ' E. C. Horner, and H. Chadwick (trustee). V : The trustee in the estate reported as follows ;- Gentlemen, Since last meeting 1 have employed a man to pul tho stock in order so that it might be easily 'seen • I advertised for tenders loi the whole of the stock and tools, and there being only one, I accepted it. The amount, £9O, . does not seem, much, considering that the stock is valued by the debtor at £2OO, hut it is not a stock that can he easily disposed of, and I was of opinion that should I put it up to auction it would bring still less, and there would be , more delay as tyell us expense of advertising again, and auctioneers commission. I have looked over, the furniture, and I think that £2O is Us full value. The coach factory *■ pf cottrse would riot bring at the present time* the amount; of mortgage. £550, * .Wd 1 would suggest tbal I be instructed ;|o ? wrLtaAo ,Mf : Bridge,Jpforming him :.:ibatAho ;,cr.cdi ,or ß are-Aipt -disposed to lake it .-up, - a,n*l - would . therefore band over the place at once. The Hawcra section I consider worth nothing and 1 think I might also be instructed to write ihfdftriiiig the owner that'-we -forfeit the Same to biro. Ther6 is a contingent liability of £ll9 15s wb : cb I find by referring to the Bankruptcy Act will have to bo recognised and this will probably delay the winding up of tbjs for some time.
