A Tug of-War will take place (sweepstake.) A Cnp, value £3 3s, will be presented to the competitor scoring most points in the 100 yards, 200 yards, and Handicaps. Children’s prizes will be distributed during the day. Entries close at the office of the secretary at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, the 19th December, and letters bearing the post mark of that date will bo accepted. Handicaps will appear in the Patea Mail of the 241h December. Half entrance fee to be paid on entering, and half on acceptance. Ihe secretaiy will be in attendance at the office from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, the 19th December, to receive nominations.
